Returns and Replacement

Faulty Items

All of the products we sell come with their relevant manufacturer’s warranty. We are an Australian based company so you are also covered by an automatic product guarantee under Australian Consumer Law. If you believe that an item you purchased is faulty due to a manufacturing defect, you may be entitled to a repair, exchange or refund. If this is the case, you will need to contact us stating the reasons for your return and provide a copy of your receipt or proof of purchase. Puratek will issue a Return Reference Number (RRN) to you to identify the goods that have been approved for return.

Free return shipping of faulty items is organised by Puratek where the faulty item is reported within 30 days of purchasing. You can contact us admin@puratek.com.au for a free return postage label.

Incorrectly Described Items

You can ask for an exchange or refund on incorrectly delivered items or items that have been described incorrectly on our website. Please contact us stating the reasons for your return request and provide a copy of your proof of purchase.

Please note that no exchange or refund will be given if:

  • The returned item/s are not in their original packaging and of resalable condition.
  • Are damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Returned more than 30 days after purchase.
  • No Return Reference Number (RRN) accompanies the returned item/s

Change of Mind

Sometimes, you may want to return the goods for reasons not related to warranty or rights under consumer law. In this case you may return the goods for an exchange or refund within 30 days from purchase date. We will issue a full refund (less handling fees and freight costs) providing all of the below requirements are met:

  • The goods have not been used.
  • Are in their original packaging which is undamaged and of resalable condition.
  • Goods are not damaged, no missing parts and manual.
  • Returned within 30 days of the purchase date with a copy of the order/invoice.
  • Have a return reference number issued by us.
Purchased at full price and not under any type of discount, promotion or sale.

Note that a 15% handling/restocking fee will be charged on all returns under the change of mind policy and the customer will also be responsible for the cost of return freight. The returned goods must also be insured to their purchased value and have a tracking number. Any original delivery charges are also non-refundable.

Our change of mind policy only applies to individuals where the goods are intended for domestic use only. Products that are purchased to be used in a commercial environment or goods purchased by commercial entities, are excluded from this offer.

Not Deliverable

Our products are delivered by courier services, they will require a signature on delivery. If the courier company is unable to obtain a signature authorising them to realease the goods, they will leave a calling card at the delivery address and hold the goods at their nearest depot for a short amount of time. They may also take the goods to a collection point if authorised to do so.

It will then be the customers responsibility to contact the courier company to arrange a collection from their depot, collection point or get a re-delivery if re-delivery is available. If, after all attempts to contact the customer have been exhausted, the goods will be returned to us. If the goods are returned to us under these circumstances, the customer will be charged a 15% handling and restocking fee. Additionally, the cost of the original and return insured freight charges will be taken out of any remaining refund amount owing to the customer.

Incorrect Delivery Address:

If items are returned to us due to the customer providing an incorrect or expired delivery address, we will charge a 15% handling and restocking fee that will be taken out of any refund.

If the goods are lost or stolen due to an incorrect or expired delivery address, it will be the customers responsibility to track down and retrieve their goods as we can only assist in a limited capacity by providing proof of delivery to that address from the freight carrier.
